Biography

Abdullah ibn Tahir was a celebrated Persian general and governor during the early Abbasid era. Serving under Caliphs al-Ma'mun and al-Mu'tasim, he was known for his military prowess, successfully quelling revolts and defending the eastern frontiers of the empire. As governor of Khurasan, he implemented effective administrative reforms, ensuring stability and prosperity in the region.
