Abu Abdullah, Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Fishtali, was a distinguished Moroccan scholar and poet known for his mastery in literature and Islamic jurisprudence. Serving at the Saadian court in Marrakesh, he gained repute for his eloquent poetry and prose, which blended traditional Andalusian styles with native Moroccan influences. His notable works include commentaries and poetic compositions that have been celebrated for their linguistic brilliance and depth of insight.
