Biography
Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Mahjoubi al-Walati was a celebrated scholar in the Islamic world, admired for his profound contributions to Islamic jurisprudence. Originating from what is now Mauritania, he was a vital part of the Maliki school of thought.
