Ali ibn Muhammad al-Zarwili, known as Abu al-Hasan al-Saghir, was a distinguished Maliki jurist and Islamic scholar from the Maghreb region. Despite the limited historical records, his influence is evident in the way Maliki jurisprudence spread throughout Islamic societies.
