Biography

Abu al-Tayyib, Muhammad Shams al-Haqq ibn Amir Ali al-Azimabadi, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from the Indian subcontinent. He is best known for his comprehensive work on Hadith studies, notably 'Awn al-Ma'bud', a well-respected commentary on Sunan Abu Dawood, one of the six canonical hadith collections in Sunni Islam.
