Abu Bakr Muhammad Zakariya, a Persian polymath, made substantial contributions across various fields during the Islamic Golden Age. Renowned for his extensive medical writings, he authored the comprehensive 'Kitab al-Hawi fi al-Tibb,' an influential medical encyclopedia. He also wrote 'Kitab al-Mansuri fi al-Tibb,' dedicated to the governor of Rayy, which became an important medical reference in the medieval world.
