Biography

Abu Hamza Thumali, a revered figure in Islamic history, was closely associated with the fourth and fifth Imams, Ali Zayn al-Abidin and Muhammad al-Baqir. He is best known for his devoutness and for compiling supplications and narrations that have been pivotal in the Shia Islamic tradition. Among his notable contributions is the compilation of 'Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya', a collection of supplications attributed to Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin, which has played a significant role in the spiritual life of the Shia community.
