Biography

Ahmad ibn Zayn al-Habashi was a respected scholar who emerged from the Hadhramaut region. Known for his devotion to the Shafi'i school, he became an eminent author and teacher. He composed numerous works in the Islamic sciences, focusing particularly on jurisprudence and Sufism. His teachings resonated in manuscripts like 'Risalat al-Qushairiyyah' where he deeply explored spiritual and legal dimensions. His influence permeated through his students who carried his teachings far beyond his native land, contributing to the rich tradition of Hadhrami scholarship.
