Biography

Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Qasim al-Lakhmi, known as Al-Qayrawani, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from the Maliki school of jurisprudence. He is best known for his pivotal work 'Al-Mudawwana al-Kubra', a comprehensive compilation of legal opinions from the Maliki tradition which served as a crucial reference for subsequent generations of scholars.
