Biography
Baha Din Camili, known as البهائي العاملي in Arabic, was a multifaceted scholar whose contributions spanned various fields including jurisprudence, mathematics, astronomy, and architecture. He is renowned for his work in the development of the science of mechanics in the Islamic world and for his architectural contributions, notably the design of the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque in Isfahan. His scholarly works, which include treatises on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and philosophy, reflect his profound knowledge and versatility. Among his notable works is the 'Kashkul', which encompasses a wide range of subjects from anecdotes to serious theological discussions.
