Biography

Fadl Allah Nuri was a prominent Iranian cleric who played a significant role in the constitutional revolution of Iran. He initially supported the movement for constitutionalism, advocating for the establishment of a parliament within an Islamic framework. However, as the revolution progressed, he became increasingly critical of the secular and liberal elements within the movement, advocating instead for a constitution that was strictly based on Islamic law. His stance led to his opposition to the constitutionalists, culminating in his execution.
