Al-Ḥākim, known for his scholarly contributions in Hadith, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from Nishapur. He authored several influential works, most notably 'Al-Mustadrak alaa al-Sahihain,' where he critically evaluated hadiths of Bukhari and Muslim, adding those he deemed authentic based on their criteria but not included in their collections.
