Biography

Ibn Ahmad Gharnati Kalbi, also known as Ibn Juzayy, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from Granada. He is renowned for his contributions to Islamic jurisprudence, history, and literature. Among his notable works is the Tafsir al-Kashaf 'an Haqa'iq at-Tanzil, a comprehensive Quranic exegesis that integrates legal rulings with spiritual insights. Additionally, his Al-Qawanin al-Fiqhiyyah stands as a significant contribution to Maliki jurisprudence, outlining the legal principles according to the Maliki school.
