Biography

Ibn Ayyub Razi, known as Abu al-Fath, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from Ray, Iran. His contributions to Islamic jurisprudence and theology are noteworthy. He was deeply engaged in the study and teaching of Hanafi jurisprudence, which led to his recognition as an authority in the field. His works, although not extensively preserved, played a significant role in the development of Islamic legal thought in his era. His scholarly efforts were primarily focused on interpreting and elaborating upon the principles of Islamic law and ethics.
