Biography
Ibn Diya Makki, formally known as Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn al-Diya Muhammad al-Qurashi al-Umari al-Makki al-Hanafi, and also referred to as Baha al-Din Abu al-Baqa, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from Mecca. He belonged to the Hanafi school of thought. His contributions to Islamic jurisprudence and Hadith studies are well-regarded among scholars. His works are characterized by their depth in Islamic legal theory and their meticulous adherence to the principles of Hadith. Despite the passage of centuries, his scholarly output remains a reference point for students and scholars of Islamic studies.
