Ibn Maja, full name Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Qazwini, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from Qazvin. He is best known for compiling one of the six canonical hadith collections in Sunni Islam, known as Sunan Ibn Majah. This work is a crucial reference in the study of Hadith, containing over 4,000 hadiths categorized into various books covering jurisprudence, etiquette, history, and theology.
