Biography

Ibn Muslim Basri, also known as Abu Uthman al-Saffar al-Basri, was a mawla of Azra b. Thabit al-Ansari. He distinguished himself in the Islamic scholarly community of Basra. His contributions to the development and transmission of Hadith literature are noteworthy.
