Biography
Ibn Sulayman Cizz Din Hilli, originally named Hasan ibn Sulayman al-Hilli, was a distinguished Islamic scholar from Hillah, present-day Iraq. He was deeply versed in Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and philosophy. His intellectual contributions are vast, with his works on Shia Islamic thought being particularly influential. Among his notable works are 'Kashf al-Yaqin fi Fadhail Amir al-Mu'minin' and 'Minhaj al-Karamah fi Ma'rifat al-Imamah,' which delve into the virtues of Imam Ali and the principles of Imamate, respectively. His scholarly efforts played a significant role in the development of Shia Islamic studies.
