Al-Kulaynī, known as Ṯiqaŧ al-ʾIslām, was a pioneering figure in the development of Shia Islamic thought. He is best known for his seminal work, 'Al-Kāfī', which is considered one of the most important compilations of hadith in Shia Islam. This work is revered for its comprehensive coverage of Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and ethics.
