Abu al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Yahya al-Wansharisi al-Tlemceni was a distinguished jurist and scholar in the Maliki school of Islamic jurisprudence. He is particularly renowned for his monumental work, "al-Mi'yar al-Mu'rib," a comprehensive legal compendium widely referenced in the Maghreb and Andalusia.
