Jalal al-Din, a significant leader from the Khwarazmian dynasty, is known for his enduring struggles against Mongol invasions in Persia during the early 13th century. Following the Mongol defeat of his father, he took command of efforts to resist the advancing forces, displaying notable military acumen. Even as a fugitive, he managed to reassemble forces and score several victories.
