Jalal al-Din Muhammad Ibn Ahmad al-Mahalli was a renowned Islamic scholar known for his contribution to Quranic exegesis. He began the Tafsir al-Jalalayn, a key commentary on the Quran, which was later completed by his student and colleague, Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti.
