Mahdi Ahmad Ibn Yahya, also known in the Islamic world as Al-Imam Al-Murtada, was a distinguished scholar and theologian within the Zaidi sect of Shia Islam. He authored several influential works, including 'Al-Azhar fi Ma'aqib al-Abrar' and 'Al-Mu'ni fi al-Radd 'ala al-Mu'tazila wa al-Qadariyya,' which are critical in the study of Islamic jurisprudence and theology. His writings significantly contributed to the discourse on justice, divine attributes, and the responsibilities of rulers in Islamic governance, reflecting his deep commitment to ethical leadership and the principles of the Quran and Sunnah.
