Biography

Mohammed bin Saud was a central figure in the 18th-century Arabian Peninsula. He founded the first Saudi state, establishing a lasting alliance with the theologian Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab. This partnership laid the groundwork for a new political and religious entity centered around the town of Diriyah. Through shrewd leadership and military campaigns, he expanded his influence, setting the stage for the unification of the region. His leadership set the initial foundations for what would eventually become the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
