Biography

Muhammad ibn Abdul Karim al-Maghili al-Tilmisani was an influential Islamic scholar and theologian during the late 15th century. Known for his strong advocacy of the Maliki school of jurisprudence, he composed numerous works emphasizing Islamic law and governance. Al-Maghili played a significant role in disseminating Islamic teachings across West Africa. His writings provided crucial guidance for Muslim leaders, especially in regions like the Songhai and Kano.
