Biography

Muhammad Hasan Najafi, known as Jawahiri, was a distinguished Islamic scholar and jurist. He is best known for his monumental work, 'Jawaher al-Kalam fi Sharh Shara'i' al-Islam' (Jewels of the Discourse in the Explanation of the Laws of Islam), which is a comprehensive commentary on Shia Islamic law. This work is considered one of the most important sources for the study of Shia jurisprudence and has been widely studied and referenced by scholars and students of Islamic law for generations.
