Biography
Niftawayh, originally named Abu Abdullah Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Arfah, was a distinguished grammarian and philologist. His contributions to the Arabic language and its grammar are monumental. He hailed from Wasit and was deeply involved in the study and teaching of Arabic linguistics. His works are considered foundational in the field of Arabic grammar, providing insights and analyses that have been influential in the development of the Arabic linguistic tradition.
