Biography

Nur Din Jami was a Persian scholar, poet, and Sufi mystic. He is renowned for his contributions to Persian literature and Sufi philosophy. Among his most celebrated works are 'Yusuf and Zulaikha,' a poetic rendition of the Quranic story of Joseph and Potiphar's wife, and 'Baharistan,' a collection of short stories. Jami also compiled 'Nafahat al-Uns,' which details the lives of Sufi saints, further cementing his role in the spiritual and literary traditions of the Islamic world.
