Biography

Qudāma Ibn Ja'far, also known as Abū al-Faraj, was a distinguished scholar and writer from Baghdad. He made significant contributions to the fields of literature, ethics, and economics. Among his notable works is the 'Kitāb al-Kharāj,' a pioneering treatise on public finance and administration. His expertise also extended to adab literature, where he compiled and commented on pre-Islamic and Islamic poetry and prose.
