Biography

Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Sarakhsi was an influential Hanafi jurist and scholar renowned for his work, "Al-Mabsut," a comprehensive exposition of Hanafi jurisprudence composed during his imprisonment. His diligent scholarship, without access to his library, produced one of the most detailed commentaries on fiqh, extending over several volumes. Al-Sarakhsi’s writings are celebrated for their depth and clarity, reflecting an extensive understanding of Islamic law and principles.
