Biography
Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Sarakhsi was an influential Hanafi jurist and scholar renowned for his work, "Al-Mabsut," a comprehensive exposition of Hanafi jurisprudence composed during his imprisonment. His diligent scholarship, without access to his library, produced one of the most detailed commentaries on fiqh, extending over several volumes.
