Rashad Khalifa was an Egyptian-American biochemist, best known for his work on the mathematical structure of the Quran. He proposed the theory of a 'miraculous' numerical pattern centered around the number 19 in the Quranic text. Khalifa's computer-assisted research, which began in the 1960s, led to publications such as 'The Miracle of the Quran: Significance of the Mysterious Alphabets' and 'Quran: The Final Testament.'
