Biography

Rashid Ahmad Ganguhi was a central figure in the Deobandi movement, which emerged in the Indian subcontinent in the late 19th century. He was deeply involved in the establishment of the Darul Uloom Deoband, an Islamic seminary that became a cornerstone for Islamic education. His scholarly contributions include works on Hadith, Fiqh, and Tasawwuf, enriching Islamic literature and thought. Among his notable works are 'Fatawa-e-Rashidiya' and 'Al-Kawkab al-Durri', which are still referenced by scholars and students of Islamic sciences today.
