Biography

Salim Hasan was an Egyptian Egyptologist who dedicated his life to the exploration and study of ancient Egypt. He is renowned for his extensive excavations and research at Giza, Saqqara, and in the Valley of the Kings. His work led to significant discoveries, including uncovering the causeway of the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the pyramid of Unas, the last pharaoh of the 5th Dynasty. Hasan's publications, notably his multi-volume series on the excavations at Giza, have been instrumental in advancing the field of Egyptology.
