Biography

Shihab Din Ibn Jazari was a distinguished scholar in the fields of Quranic sciences and the Arabic language. He is renowned for his profound contributions to the science of Tajweed, the art of Quranic recitation. Among his most celebrated works is the 'Tayyibat al-Nashr,' which is considered a cornerstone in the study of Quranic recitation methods. His expertise also extended to the compilation and classification of Quranic readings, where he meticulously documented the seven, ten, and fourteen Qira'at, thereby preserving the diverse traditions of Quranic recitation for future generations.
