Sībawayhi, originally named Abū Bišr ʿAmrů b. ʿUṯmān b. Qanbar, was an eminent Persian linguist and grammarian. He is best known for his pioneering work on Arabic grammar, encapsulated in his magnum opus, 'Al-Kitab'. This monumental work laid the foundations for Arabic grammatical structure, analyzing the language with unprecedented depth and precision.
