Biography

Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti was an Egyptian polymath whose expertise spanned various fields of Islamic learning, including hadith, fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), tafsir (Quranic exegesis), and history. He authored numerous works, the most renowned being 'Al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Qur'an', a comprehensive study on the sciences of the Quran, and 'Tafsir al-Jalalayn', a widely acclaimed Quranic exegesis co-authored with Jalal al-Din al-Mahalli. His scholarly contributions also include 'Al-Durr al-Manthur', a significant compilation of hadiths related to Quranic commentary. Al-Suyuti's prolific writing and intellectual legacy have made him a revered figure in Islamic scholarship.
